Summary

Shimmy Shield Sarah Brenneman

Sarah’s compositions push the boundaries of watercolour technique as she often paints wet into wet. She is inspired by abstract patterns taken from textiles and book covers, as well as the natural and manmade designs she finds on regular walks around New York City. Sarah is also influenced by botanical shapes and in developing these beyond traditional illustration.
